

After a courageous battle with lung disease, Lynne is finally at rest with God. Predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Norman Andrews and survived by her sister Janis Manning (Peter). Dear aunt to Alexandra (Trevor) in Stoney Creek, Owen (Kitty) in Richmond Hill and Andrew (Jennifer) in New Zealand. She was a much loved great aunt to Erin, Ryan, Joshua, Jackson and Asha. Lynne influenced many young lives over her 32 years of teaching in Scarborough. Lynne was very active in earlier years as president of the Scarborough Teachers Federation. She was a graduate of Brock University and became actively involved with literacy through the University Women’s Club in St. Catharines, a project near and dear to her heart. She was an avid gardener and loved to entertain elegantly. Her entire life from birth to death involved St. George’s Anglican Church. She will be missed and fondly remembered by family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Welland Hospital and the Woolcott unit for the compassionate care she received. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 27th from 7 to 9pm at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346). A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 28 at with visitation from at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church Street. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery will follow the Celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Catharines University Women’s Club or St. George Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated
