It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marianne Ellen Gavanac-Karschti on October 29, 2025 at her home in St. Catharines at the age of 50. She is now united with our mother, Laurie Stirling (Oct. 2020) whose loss she felt deeply. Marianne leaves behind her cherished son, Grayson Karschti, who was the light of her life and her greatest source of pride. She is survived by her sisters, Catherine (Alan) and Amy and many nieces and nephews. Marianne spoke fondly of Noel Karschti, who played an important role in her life and the lives of their family, and she valued the memories they shared.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at Circle of Life Cremation & Burial Centre Inc. 100 King Street East, Dundas Ontario on Sunday November 9th, 2025 from 1:00pm- 3:00pm.
