Marie Joan Doucette

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, August 23rd, 2012 in her 84th year. Predeceased by the love of her life, Frank (1985). Cherished mother to Michael (Cindy), and Julie (Mark) Oliver. Loving grandmother to Tawnya (Rick) Boivin, Mariel (Rob) Hatrick, and Symon (Lisa) Oliver. Special great grandmother to Ayden, Evynn, Isaac, Megan, Madeline, Nicholas, and Nolan. She will be missed by her special nephew Gary ( Nicole) Green, as well as, many nieces and nephews. Marie was an avid gardener, spending much time out in her precious garden. She loved to curl up with a good book, and her cat Aries. To her family Marie was known as the family chatter box, and given the opportunity she would chat your ear off.

Marie’s family will receive visitors at the HULSE AND ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905 684-6346) on Tuesday, August 28th, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Hulse and English Chapel on Wednesday, August 29th at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
