Marjorie Edith (Smith) Prosser

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Marjorie Edith Prosser (Smith) of St. Catharines, announce her passing on Saturday, July 15th, 2023, at the St. Catharines Hospital. Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many over the years.

Born on January 28th, 1935, in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Catherine (Larlee) Smith. Marjorie leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years, Charles Bryant Prosser; she will forever be remembered as a loving lady who fully enjoyed family and friends. In addition to Bryant, Marjorie is survived by her children, Elizabeth Mott (Larry) of St. Catharines ON, and Douglas Prosser (Kim) of Fredericton, NB. Her pride and joy were her 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Angela, Emily (Sean) and Adam (Elena); and two great-granddaughters, Oaklyn, and Chloe. She is also survived by her sibling, David Smith (Betty) and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her siblings; Wallace, Geraldine, William, and Charlotte.

At Marjorie’s request there will be no visitation or service. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Personal condolences or memories may be shared below for the family.
