May Catherine Pysher

Passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 in her 99th year, at the Linhaven Home. Predeceased by her husband Ray (Sept. 17, 1987), her son Jim (Nov. 7, 2007), sister Joan and her brothers; Karl, Harold and Fred. She is survived by her sister Barbara Myke and her sister in law Evelyn Alexander. Loving mother of Beverley Ann Burnham and her husband Alf, and her daughter in law Carol Pysher (Roy). Dear grandmother of Wayne (Kara), Gregory (Julie) and Jennifer (Jay). Great-grandmother of Rowen. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. May was an employee at The Old Court House in St. Catharines for 30 years before retiring in 1977. She attained the position of Deputy Local Registrar. She was also a member of Westminster United Church where she was a member of the U.C.W. and the Mary McCalla Group. For 35 years, she also volunteered at Community Care.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 12 – 2 p.m. at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Osteoporosis Society, Westminster United Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
