Passed away peacefully at home on October 15th, 2022 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her parents Viola and William Lampman, her brother William Lampman, her sisters Dorothy Lampman-Wood and Shirley Lampman-Bradshaw, and her son Wayne Douglas Hill. She will be dearly missed by her husband John Hill, her children Lynda Laycock, Wendy (John) Fishleigh and Bryan (Sally) Hill, and her daughter-in-law Susan Hill (the late Wayne). Nanny to Sarah Hill, Laura Hill-Delano, Keven Laycock, Christopher Laycock, Michael Fishleigh, Tara Fishleigh, Heather Richard, Shawn Hill, Kimberlea Hill-Rees, and their families, and to her 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Mildred took great pride in her homemaking skills. She was an excellent seamstress and loved her bridge and trailer clubs.
As per Mildred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. She wanted to be remembered with happiness. Please lift a glass of wine and toast to Mildred. Cheers!
