Passed away suddenly on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the age of 59 years. Beloved father of Jaan. Dear brother of Hillar (Janice) and Heino (Sheila). Survived by his step son Vadim. Uncle of Gregory of Vancouver and Eerik of Smithers, BC, Matti, Hillar Jr, both of Calgary and Jaan of Toronto. Olev was formerly employed as a Geologist with Amoco Canada before transferring to Amoco USA, where his work took him to Houston and London England. He also had the opportunity to work on the North Sea projects before transferring to Eastern Europe and later Russia. Following his early retirement he took up farming in St. Catharines.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
