Patricia Vernon Potter Slough

SLOUGH, Patricia (nee Potter)-Our mother Patricia passed away peacefully in her 94th year on December 18th, 2011 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Cherished MOM to Arlene (Robert) Jones, Nancy (Richard) Nowicki and Rhonda (John) Moore. Proud grandmother to Catherine (Carson) Manette, Colleen (Jeff) Harrison, Christopher (Tiffany) Nowicki, Scott (Jennifer) Nowicki, Patricia Nowicki, Gregory Moore and Kevin Moore. Great grandmother to Riley, Jorja, Abigail and Leah. Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband Alvin in 1974, her parents Captain Thomas Dashwood and Adeline Potter, and her siblings Jean, Winnifred, Evelyn, Phyllis, Frances and Douglas. Patricia was a devoted member of St. James Anglican Church (Merritton) for 50 years, a member of the ladies ACW, and was involved with the quilters guild. Mom loved the time she spent with her family and will be missed by all. A special thank-you to the staff at Cobblestone Gardens, and the staff at St. Catharines General Hospital. Patricia’s family will accept visitors at the HULSE AND ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905) 684-6346 on Wednesday, December 21st from 10:00-11:00am with a service taking place at 11:00am in the Hulse and English Chapel. A private family interment to take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Patricia’s family would appreciate donations made to a charity of your choice.
