

Always warm and welcoming, Pattie was a truly joyous person. Her generosity of spirit shone most brightly with her love for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid gardener with a lifelong love of the arts and theatre. Adventurous by nature, Pattie was always willing the try a new hobby or learn a new skill.
After college Pattie held a variety of jobs before starting her career with the provincial government. She worked for several ministries before arriving at Human Resources within the Ministry of Transportation. Pattie was recognized during her tenure, receiving the highest awards given for exemplary service. She made many lasting friends while there and retired in 2015.
Never one to sit still, Pattie returned to work for the province part time, while also working as a tour guide for the CAA - a great fit for someone with a love of travel. Always generous with her time, Pattie volunteered extensively.
Pattie will be missed by her loving husband Don, daughter Sarah (John) and Sarah’s stepsons Sam and Jed, son Adam (Danielle), grandchildren Briar and Rowan, sister-in-law Patty Webb (Eric Hirst), nephews Kevin (Emily), Matt (Molly), brother-in-law Les Vail, and niece Trinda Rensen (Andy). Predeceased by her father Orville Dailey, her mother Patricia, step-mother Mickey, sister Gail Vail, nephew Tim Vail, and in-laws Carl and Joyce Webb.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel (75 Church St., St. Catharines, ON.) from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 1 p.mm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Pattie’s favourite charity was the Lincoln County Humane Society.
