Passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the NHS – St. Catharines Site, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Howard. Loved mother of Julie (Tom) Owens. Dear sister of Marie Hall. Loving aunt of Nancy (Sid) Hall, Pat (John) Austin, Kathy Siamro, and Janet (Dave) Henderson.
Phyllis was a member of IODE and the Altar Guild at St. George’s Anglican Church. She was also an avid practitioner of Tai Chi.
A sincere thank you to the staff at Tufford Manor and the staff on 5B at the hospital for the exceptional care they gave to Phyllis.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church St. (905-682-9232) on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. Family and friends will be received at the church from 1 – 2 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). If desired, memorial donations made to St. George’s Breakfast Program or the Cathedral St. Vincent de Paul Conference would be appreciated by the family.
