

Past into the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ Thursday, January 8th, 2015 at the Port Colborne Hospital in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gordon, and her parents George and Lillian Potter. Loved mother of Diane (Bob) Smith, Pamela (the late Bert) Verwey, David (Sharon), and Christine Wilson. Devoted grandmother of Caleb (Danielle), and Braydon (Kalyne) Smith; Adam (Fiona), Amy, and Katharine Verwey; Jason Arsenault; and Thomas and Brandon Knoll. Great grandmother of 8 plus 1 on the way and great, great grandmother of 1.
Phyllis was a guide and Brownie leader of the 24th Carleton Company. Worked for many years at Luder’s Pharmacy, was one of the founding member of Learning Disable Association and was an active member of the Good Shepherd Anglican Church since the age of 4. Her faith held her up in good and bad times. She shared her Saviour and Prayed for all.
The family will received friends on Tuesday, January 13th from 10-11am at the Good Shepherd Church ANC 677 Niagara Street, St. Catharines. A celebration of Phyllis life will follow at 11am. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If so desired, donations made in Phyllis’ memory to the Good Shepherd Church ANC would be appreciated.
