Raampje "Rany" Johanna Hofland

(80) passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Shalom Manor and Gardens Nursing Home, Grimsby.

Beloved mother of sons Brian and Quinn and his wife Tracy. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, who passed away in 2007, Michael, Daniel and Abby. Dear sister of Gerda Nederlof-Stephens, Martin (Anna) VandenDool and sister-in-law Nettie VandenDool. Predeceased by her brothers Harry and his wife Grace; Jack VandenDool and brothers-in-law Hank Nederlof and Verne Stephens. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their children. Rany was forever grateful to Yolanda and her husband George for their devotion. To the staff of Shalom Manor for their loving care over the years and finally to her church family and friends who regularly cared for and visited her.

The family will receive friends at Trinity Orthodox Reformed Church, 99 Scott St., St. Catharines on Thursday, October 27th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the church on Friday, October 28th at 11am. Interment Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Shalom Manor in Rany’s memory would be appreciated by her family.
