ANDERSON, Robert (Butch) William
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert (Butch) William Anderson, age 71 on December 16, 2011 in his home in Welland, Ontario. Bob was a loving and wonderful husband; father, brother, brother-in-law and friend. Everyone who knew Bob will understand how much his radiant smile, keen sense of humour, love of animals and kindness will be missed. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Joan of 50 years, his devoted children Jay (Jackie) and Lee. Bob will be sadly missed by his extended family Joyce (Rhoney) Gordon; June (Don) Grahame and the late Jimmy (Norma) Lawrenson and many cherished nieces and nephews and their children. Predeceased by father Wilfred (Beans); mother Mary (Molly), sister Eileen and brother Wilfred Jr. (June) and his beloved Sammy. Bob and Joan were born in St. Catharines but lived in Georgetown for over 40 years where Bob built his career as Creative Art Director Cryovac (WR Grace). After retiring they returned to the Niagara region moving to Welland, where they established many great friends, a special thank you to Bob and Erin for all your support.

Although it is over 20 years since I worked with Bob, I still recall his pleasant humor and love of life.

Dear Mrs. Anderson and family...I wish to extend my sincerest condolences to you. I doubt very much if "Bob" would remember me...but I do remember him from my many years at CRYOVAC and the very few fleeting encounters with him then. Only pleasant memories remain in my mind. He was one of the "good ones" within the CRYOVAC family of yore. Bless you all!!!

Dear Mrs. Anderson, Lee, Jay, and Jackie: I want you to know the great respect that I have for Mr. Anderson. He was the best neighbour that anyone could ask for, and a big reason why the Jessop Court neighbours were so close. He was always a pleasure to talk to and he could always make you laugh no matter what. We are all very lucky to have known him and his charm and his creativity will be deeply missed. Please accept my most sincere sympathy.

Dear Joan,
My heart aches for you, and for your loss. Bob was a very nice person, even if I only knew him from when I would visit my family in Canada. He always had a smile on his face, and I know he loved you and his family so very much. I will give you a big hug when I get up there on Thursday...Love Marylee
