It is with our deepest sorrow to announce the passing of Ronald (Ron) George Fiander on March 13, 2026, at the age of 58. Devoted loving partner to Cheryl (Keane) Visnosky. Sadly missed by his children Lauren Fiander and Samuel Fiander and step children Taunya and Matt Visnosky and Mother-in-law Lillian Ball. Grandfather to August. Dear brother of Melvin (Roxanne) Fiander and Wayne Fiander. Predeceased by his parents Samuel Fiander (1997) and Jessie (nee Bishop) Fiander (1994) and his brother Goodwin Samuel Fiander (2008). Also sadly missed by nieces Marilyn, Brenda, Ricci-Lynn, Alexis and Kendra and nephews Jason, Paul and Davis.
Ron worked at AST Canada until his stroke in 2021. He was known for his blue eyes and his passion for photography, his love for Cheryl ,the outdoors, ice-capps and mechanical abilities to assemble drones. For the last four years, Ron was determined to be able to communicate due to complications resulting from the stroke.
