Sharon Lee Keller
August 11, 1945 – October 29, 2019
Sharon passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved her dearly. She was a joy to be with and support. She spent her early years in foster care and the Muskoka Regional Centre and in 1978 she came to Christian Horizons. She touched many people throughout her life including many staff within Christian Horizons as well as the caring staff at Extendicare St. Catharines where she spent her last 8 years. She became our family. She had an incredible ability to show love to those around her; she spent each day watching over others, colouring in her colouring books and creating beautiful hook-rugs that she always gave away. Sharon was special to all those who knew her; she had a great sense of humour, did not hold a grudge, or ask for anything in return and had an all-around positive attitude toward life--she loved unconditionally and fully. She was a special gift to those who were blessed to know her and care for her. We will all miss her greatly but rejoice knowing she is with Jesus in heaven.
Special thanks to the exceptional staff at Extendicare--Linda, Kim, Peggy, Jan, Jennifer, Katie, Jeanette and others--who consistently went above and beyond in their care for Sharon.
