Passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 13th, 2012 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of over 60 years to James (Jim). Loving mother of son Terry (Jodi, children Kayleigh and Ian) and daughter Debbie Berry. Cherished Nanny of Brent and Jamie Berry (Peter). Survived by her sister Linda Hoadley, several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Eileen and brother Tom. Shirley was actively involved with Project Smile and a member of the Niagara Heritage Quilt Guild up until this last year when she was diagnosed with Melanoma.
Cremation has taken place as per her wishes. Visitation will take place at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, on Friday, October 19th from 2-4pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the Hulse and English Chapel on Saturday, October 20th at 1:00 pm.
