Peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 86. Shirley (nee Mason), beloved wife of the late Richard Patrick Novak (2015). Loving mother of Kim, Lynn and her husband Mark, Alan and his wife Debbie, Lee and his wife Eleanore, and Bradley and GerrieLynn. Devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Lovingly remembered by her sister Doreen and predeceased by brother David. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Proudly did volunteer work for many years.
A visitation for Shirley will be held at Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at The Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 67 Church Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. The Rite of Committal will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines.
