passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Valdis in his 88th year. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Alida, daughters Silvija, Judite and granddaughter Rhianna. He is remembered fondly by Vizma and Eric Sprott, Mudite Reinholds who knew him as “Unkie”. Valdis was born in Latvia on March 24, 1926 to Marija and Martins Rozentals. He will be remembered as a gentle soul, loving husband, father and grandfather who always put others before himself. He is also survived by a sister, Elza and brother in law Alfreds who still live in Latvia.
The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346), on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm for memorial visitation.
