It is with a sad heart that the family of Velma Burrows (nee Hough) announces her passing from complications of Alzheimer's disease, on November 10, 2017 at 81. She passed quietly in her sleep surrounded by Roy, her husband of 62 years, their daughter Brenda and son Kevin. Velma will be missed by her grandsons; Aidan and Angus and their father Andrew. Velma is survived by her sisters; Mary and Ruth and her brother Lee, along with nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of West Park Health Centre in St. Catharines for their dedication to caring for her so well these past months.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Canadian Legion Branch 24, 15 George Street, St. Catharines on Sunday November 26 from 1 to 4pm. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in her memory appreciated.
