Passed away peacefully, at the age of 81 years, at the St. Catharines Site of Niagara Health System, on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Douglas and daughter Carol. Dear mother of Laura (Bob) Denholm and Al (Glenda) Bryan. Loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Jim (Elaine) Reid, and her many nieces and nephews. Verna was a devoted member of the Baha’i Faith, and had a definite love for bowling.
Family and friends will be received at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6346), on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am, with Funeral Service following in the chapel at 11:30 am.
