On Sunday, September 22, 2013 passed away peacefully with family by his side in his 91st year. Born and raised in Elbow, Saskatchewan; predeceased by his beloved wife Edna (nee Stephenson) and son in law Jeff Mansfield. Loving father of Ann and David Schappert, Barbara and Dale Doran and Janet and Larry Skelly. Proud and cherished Poppa of Kate, Drew and John Schappert, and Lauren, Matthew and Ryan Skelly. Remembered by all of his siblings and their families. Bill graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Saskatchewan in 1946. He was an avid traveler, gardener and family historian. Above all, he cared for and loved his family to whom he was devoted.
