Paul and family, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I agree with Carol, it's very hard to lose a parent. Focusing on all the good times or the special moments from the past are helpful in working through the grief you are feeling right now. I really like the photo you choose to memorialize his life.

I remember "Rex" very well. He was a kind, empathetic person who helped me immensely during my adjustment to teaching at the middle school. A great listener with compassion for the feelings of others that came across his path. I know he will be missed by his family. May his soul be received by our Lord with graciousness and praise for the life that he lived here on the earthly plane of our existence.

Paul and Diane, sending my sincere condolences on the passing of your father. I hope your family can remember all the great times I am sure you enjoyed. Losing a parent is not easy. You have a great foundation which I am sure he helped you build. Take care. God bless you all.
