Fr. Aloysius “Alois”, Gabrus, OFM, 70, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Mon. June 15, 2015. Beloved son of the late Aloysius and Gertrude Gabrus; He is survived by his sisters Frances (Dennis) Kegel & Gertrude Gabrus; Seven nieces and nephews and The Franciscan Friars of Sacred Heart Province.
Most of his Priestly ministry was spent serving in parishes in Chicago, Cleveland, Omaha, St. Louis and Northern Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 17, from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 7pm St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 18, at 10 AM.
