Anthony George Ternak

Tony was the beloved son of the late George and Cecilia (nee Steiner) Ternak; loving brother of the late John (the late Barbara) Ternak, Sr.; dear uncle of the late John Ternak, Jr.; cherished great-uncle of Ann Alexander and Joe Ternak; special friend of Chris and Steve Landgrebe, and Trudy Prewitt; and a dear friend to so many people, too numerous to count.

Tony was a member of St. Mary's High School Class of 1968. He earned his Bachelor's at St. Louis University and worked most of his career for the State of Missouri in defense of child support. Tony was active with the Knights of Columbus and the St. Raphael's Men's Club. Tony liked going out to eat with his friends, watching sports on TV especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and reminiscing with family. He had a great memory. He was appreciative of the help he received from family and friends. He was funny and had a quick wit. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be Tuesday, November 29 from 9:30-10:30am at Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 6040 Jamieson 63109. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am. Interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 3906 Mt. Olive Rd 63125 to follow.
