Betty R. Tarantola

Beloved wife of the late Norman A. Tarantola, loving daughter of the late Abe and Grace Fry, dearest mother of Norman L. (Paulette) Tarantola, loving grandmother of Ryan M. (Tina) Tarantola, and Paul (Kate Garmey) Tarantola, and dear great-grandmother of Emily and Jonathon Tarantola, dearest aunt, great aunt, and friend to many.

Betty was first and foremost a loving wife, unbelievable mother, and a doting grandmother. She had a magnetic personality which attracted so many friends. She was kind, and charitable, and loved by all who knew her. Once you met Betty you never forgot her. We will miss her every day of our lives.

She was co-owner of Fry Drugs, a member of the Italian Bocce Club, PBM of the Hill, the “Vogies” and “the Crazy Ladies”.

We wish to express a special thank you to Crestview Senior Living, Cooperative Home Care, and Seasons Hospice and Mason Pointe Nursing Home for all of your kindness, care and support.

Services: Visitation Saturday, August 26, 1-4 p.m at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa, 63109. There will be a Memorial Service Monday, August 28 at 10 a.m. in Hoffmeister’s Chapel with interment to be following at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
