Carol A. (nee Boyer) FitzGibbon. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Loving wife of the late John J. “Jack” FitzGibbon; beloved mother of Mary Helen FitzGibbon, Mary Catherine (Gerard) Haberberger, Mary Eileen (Thomas) Jacobs, Mary Maureen (John) Tierney and Mary Margaret (Michael) Stelzer; sister of Kenneth (Kathleen) Boyer and the late Jeanette, William and Margaret; dear grandmother of Andrew (Elizabeth), John & Joseph Haberberger, Nicholas, Patrick & Christopher Jacobs, Max and the late Brett Hefele, Mary Jane Tierney and Phillip, Daniel & Martin Stelzer; great-grandmother of Jack & Emma Haberberger; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Carol was a Registered Nurse for various hospitals in the St. Louis area for 40 plus years. She was a kind and nurturing soul that will be greatly missed.

SERVICES: Funeral from Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson on Tuesday, January 23 at 9:00 am to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Carol’s name to Nurses for Newborns. Visitation Monday from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm.
