Christine Adele Minnich

Christine was born in St. Louis, MO April 9, 1950. The third of eight children of the late Daniel J. and Mary Adele (nee Holton) Minnich. Christine was a special lady. She worked for 30 years in several shelter workshops in the St. Louis area. She loved seagulls, bunnies, and deer (especially hand feeding the deer at the Critter Lane Petting Zoo in Valle Mines, MO). Chris spent her days doing puzzles and watching classic series TV show. Riding carousels was also a favorite activity.

Christine is survived by five siblings: Carolyn (Michael) Widhalm, Theresa A. (the late George) Houmes, Edel Anderson,John (Lori) Minnich, and Gregory E. (Joan) Minnich. Chris was also the sister-in-law of Karla Minnich and Michael (Jane Vancil) Brown. Her brother, Daniel J. Jr. and sister, Mary Virginia Brown preceded her in death. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a great great nephew.

SERVICES: The family will receive friends from 9am until time of Mass at 10:30am on Monday, January 9, 2023 Cure of Ars Catholic Church 670 S. Laclede Station Rd., Shrewsbury. Memorial contributions in honor of Christine are suggested to L'Arche of St. Louis.
