I have the fondest memories of Denny.  My mother Sue dated him on and of a few times over the 30 years I have been blessed enough to know him.  When I was 10, we used to go watch Jamie, then Jamie and Aaron (sorry for any misspelling) play soccer on Sunday afternoons.  Sometimes we would go to Ted Drews afterwards.  Some of the happiest days when I was little.  Denny always made me laugh.  On his way home from work he passed our house and if I was out playing, he would always make sure to honk and wave.  He would fix my bike, just many sweet and kind things, that was the man that he was.  As an adult, I saw him much less as I lived in Florida, but the few times I got to see him, his smile and laughter would warm my heart.  He was there for my mom and I when my Grandfather passed and drove us so that we wouldn't have to, just did whatever we needed.  I knew he was always there for my mom.  

I'm so sorry that you have lost your father, and I am sorry that you have this hole in your life.  For surely, if I feel as saddened as I do, what a loss you must have.  I am praying for peace for you all.

Family get togethers will not be the same without Uncle Butch.  He always had a story to tell.  He's now reunited with Grandma, Grandpa and my mom.  He will be missed, as they all are.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Butch.  When we were little he would call all the nieces and nephews "little monkeys".  He always took the time to talk to us and as we grew older and had kids of our own...they became the "little monkeys" and he took the time to get to know them as well.  He will be missed dearly.

"Jake" ...one of the FUNNIEST guys around!  He ALWAYS had everybody rolling!!!  He had the biggest heart of anyone around and was amazingly generous!! "God love em"...one of his favorite sayings. .. I miss him terribly, and remember him fondly! Love you, Jake!

I'm so glad we were all together for Aunti's Birthday party, and had a chance to visit.
When Butch was little he could not say my name, so he called me LaLa.
