Eleanor T. Modica

Beloved wife of the late Matthew M. Modica. Daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella Fresta. Mother and mother-in-law of the late Frank J. Modica (former wife Kathleen H. Modica). Grandmother of Charles (Roz) Andrews, Michelle (Tony) Oestreich, Kathi (Bob) Schreiber, Matt (Missy) Modica, Carm (Pete) Veros and Joe Modica. Great grandmother of Sonny Andrews, Heather (Erin) Slate, Kristen and Tyler Oestreich, Anna, Jennifer and Sammy Modica, Anthony and Daniel Veros. Sister-in-law of Rose Fresta. Aunt, great aunt and friend to many. She is preceded in death by her siblings Tony (Nina), Bash (Rosemary), Sam (Angela), Joe, Paul, Tina (Joe) Urzi, Mary and Lilly (Joe) Sapianza.

Family and friends are asked to gather at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Ave. on Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 for Visitation from 9:00 AM until the celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
