Evelyn G. Wahoff

Evie was born December 28, 1933 to Stephen Leslie Burch and Anna Julia (Hardesty) Burch. She was the 12th child and last to leave this world. Evie died at home surrounded by her children, Donna Wahoff-Stice (David) of Tetonia, Idaho; Jan Humphreys of St. Louis; John Wahoff of Gardiner, Montana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and the fisherman’s catch of her life, Robert John Wahoff. Evie has 5 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren: Bob Humphreys; Becky Rosenberger (Mike, Abigail & Elizabeth); Anna Humphreys (Travis, Madison, Riley, Wyatt, Camryn, Grayson, Finley); Leslie Osborne (Kyle, Patrick & Elizabeth); Sarah Stice-Goff (Ryan, Natalie & Abagail).

Evelyn will be missed by many; as the Matriarch of her family, a 50 year member of TOPS and a mentor to many seeking to lose weight. Quilting was a love in her life and the Perryville Memory Makers provided inspiration for many of her creations.

SERVICES: Visitation will be at held at Ford & Young in Perryville 4/27/23 from 4-8 pm; Hoffmeister Colonial in St. Louis 4/28/23 from 4-8 pm and service at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery 4/29/23 at 11 am.

Memorial contributions in Evelyn’s honor can be made to Legacy Hospice or Missouri Conservation.
