

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Robin Hensley; his daughter, Mindy Killian and her husband Don; grandson Jake Killian; and granddaughter Grace Killian. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Joan Hensley, sister Robin (Bill) Stewart and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Geraldine (née Hansen) Hensley and his brother Thomas L. Hensley.
After graduating from Kirkwood High School, Jerry proudly served in the United States Air Force. There, he developed a love for computers that became the foundation of his career. He went on to work as a district technical specialist, repairing computer hardware and troubleshooting problems.
He had a lifelong love of muscle cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, car racing of all sorts and building detailed car and ship models. No picture of Jerry would be complete without mentioning one of his favorite simple pleasures—a cold Budweiser.
Jerry will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Committal Service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125, US, on October 23, 2026, at 10:30 am.
