Heidi was the beloved mother of Maya Urbanski and Jack Urbanski, daughter of Ted Borgel and the late Patricia Werner, sister of Emily and Molly, dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many in her lifetime.
She was born on September 4th, 1968, to Patricia Brooke Werner and Charles Theodore Borgel in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from Webster University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, she led many different careers, following her adventurous spirit; working on several films, being a trader at the Oppenheimer Group in Los Angeles, and running her jewelry business, Heidi Urbanski Jewelry. In addition, she spent many hours volunteering as parent representative and board member for the swim teams her children swam with for many years. Her first front of house experience was HoiToiToi off of Manchester; most recently, she was a valued server at multiple restaurants including Otto’s Pub and Brewery and the American Alehouse in State College, Pennsylvania, and most recently, Cafe Provencal in St. Louis. Heidi was known for being a fierce, compassionate, driven, honest, loyal, funny, hardworking badass.
She is survived by her daughter and son, Maya and Jack, their father Jeff, father Ted, sisters Emily and Molly, niece Tahlor, nephews Zach, Nick, and Jake, best friends Nasia and Tracy, and two cats lovingly named Round Kitty and Mean/Skinny Kitty. She led many adventures in her life, including multiple trips abroad, though her favorite place was probably in her bed (aka, her “cave”). She was looking forward to multiple concerts in the coming months and shares many memories of those with her friends and family, in addition to her love of the arts, jewelry making, and the Buffalo Bills. Love Love.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 1pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street St. Louis, Missouri, 63109.
