

Jim was the beloved husband of Robin Imo (née Murphy) and a devoted father to Melissa (Doyle Moffitt) Imo-Moffitt, Andrea (Tony Barbata) Imo-Barbata, Rebecca (Tim Hendrix) Imo, Anna (Brian) Coats, James (Cassi) Imo II, and Michael (Kayla) Imo. He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Benjamin Lomax, Liam Moffitt, Vivian Moffitt, Ella Barbata, Anthony Barbata, Logan Hendrix, Olivia Imo-Hendrix, Mason Hendrix, Layla Coats, Julia Coats, James Imo III, and Dominic Imo.
The beloved son of the late Charles and Evelyn Imo (née Viero), Jim was a dear brother, brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Charlie, who was never far from his side.
Jim was known for his warm heart, fun-loving spirit, and ability to make friends wherever he went. He had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Above all, family was at the center of his life—he was a wonderful father and a doting grandfather who found immense joy in every moment spent with his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
SERVICE: Visitation, Thursday, May 8th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street at Watson. Funeral Mass, Friday, May 9th 9:30 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5140 Wilson Avenue at Marconi on the Hill.
