John has been reunited with his late parents, Lou and Grace Ceriotti, and sister, Bernadette Ceriotti, as well as other loved family and friends.
John was a loyal fan to the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis City SC, but his favorite games to watch were those of both of his sons. He cherished traveling, the beach, and the countless vacations he experienced with his loved ones.
Though ALS gradually took away his physical abilities, it never diminished his spirit, determination, or ability to strike up a conversation with anyone he came across. He faced each challenge with remarkable courage and grace, leaving a lasting example of resilience and faith.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Connie; his son, John, and son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Emily; and grandpup Burki. He is also survived by other devoted family: Michael, Amy, and Gianna Ceriotti; Bernadette Serati; Jamie and Janet Jackopin; Brian and Nancy Dodson; Eric, Valerie, Carson and Evelyn Czechowski; Jim, Jessica, Merritt and Knox Chapman; John, Sydney, Riley, and Sadie Watson; AJ, Kaylee, JJ, Payton, and Brady Jackopin; Father James Burshek; and many other friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Please note: A visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 6303 Nottingham Avenue 63109. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The ALS Association in John’s memory to support research and care for those affected by ALS. https://www.als.org/?form=general&s_src=donatebutton&utm_source=donatebutton
John’s greatest accomplishment was not found in his career or achievements, but in the family he loved so deeply and the loyalty he demonstrated to his friends.
He will be forever missed and forever remembered.
