Peters, John Joseph Fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church, September 4, 2015 at the age of 95 surrounded by family. Loving husband of 57 years of the late Alice Lindsey Peters. Best dad ever to Barbara (James) Labitska, Susan Peters, Mary (Ray) Schaefer, and Christine (Steve) Kanne. Adored grandfather of six and great grandfather of seven. Special uncle, great uncle, great-great uncle, cousin and friend to many.
The family will receive family and friends Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 9-11am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, S. Kingshighway at Bancroft, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. The interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Assistance League of St. Louis or the Thompson Center for Autism in Columbia, MO are appreciated.
