Laura Jean Humiston

Laura was born August 20, 1959 to Hazel and the late Len Breakfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Jeffrey C. Humiston; devoted and patient mother of Brent (Rachael), Ryan (Candace) and Neal Humiston; loving grandmother of Rose, Jacob, Sawyer, Jude, Sadie, and Maggie; cherished sister of Lisa (Kirk) Syberg and Linda Weber; dear sister-in-law of Jan (Gene) Finocchio, John (Stacie) Humiston, and the late Jim (Debbie) Humiston; a dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

Laura was known for her kind heart and was a wonderful friend. She was an easy person to talk with, and a thoughtful listener. She was always there for her children friends, and family offering support, encouragement, and comfort whenever it was needed.

Her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She loved them deeply and wholeheartedly, never wanting to miss a birthday party, special occasion, or opportunity to remind them how much they meant to her. Whether through gifts, calls, or celebrations, Laura made sure her grandchildren always knew they were loved.

Laura was a friend to many and loved by even more. She will be remembered for her compassion, her strength, her loyalty, and the lasting impact she made on every person fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26 from 9:30-11:30am at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30am.
