Passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Nelson Ralphs; loving mother of Anthony Charles “Tony” (Anna) Ralphs; dear step-mother of Christine (Vic) Jost & Michael (Melanie) Ralphs; loving grandmother of Sebastian Ralphs, Ensign Victoria Lock, Cullen (Morgan) Ralphs, JoAnn Oakes & Shayla Ralphs; dearest sister of Karen (Tom) Nobel & Mary (Michael) Bogowith; dear sister-in-law of Marty (Ken) Norman; special aunt of Lisa (Matt), Jane (Mark), Michael, Michelle (Gary), Matthew (Rebecca) and Emily; preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Wilma Simeone (nee Hathaway) and her sisters, Susan Simeone and Martha (Joseph) Conradi.
Laura was always the life of the party, she had a quick wit and she made everyone around her laugh. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who loved her. She will also be missed by her dear granddog Gareth Ralphs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BMA Foundation which is Kansas City’s leading advocate for Children’s Charities and Animal Welfare, and is a family charity that Laura held close to her heart.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, March 5th, 4:00 pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street at Watson. There will be a memorial visitation from 12:00 Noon Saturday until the time of services at 4:00 pm
