Died peacefully on March 18, 2024 with family at her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie F. and Joseph C. Kuhnert, Sr. and her beloved husband, Julius J. DeLucia.
LaVerne is survived by her sister Geraldine Gliedt and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by eight siblings: Clarence Kuhnert, Virginia Kellogg, Estelle Moseley, Dorothy Umfleet, Harry Kuhnert, Eleanor Kolbow, Warren Kuhnert and Joseph C. Kuhnert, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriner’s Hospital, St. Louis Children’s Hospital or Cardinal Glennon.
SERVICE: Visitation, Thursday, March 21st from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street followed by a procession and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 6303 Nottingham Ave. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery
