I was saddened to hear that Fr. Larry passed away. I have fond memories from our school days of a kind, gentle and loving soul, always there to talk and listen. I was not at all surprised when he became a Franciscan. It just fit. I also remember a visit to his lovely family's home where Mrs. Nickles made the best red sauce I ever tasted, and in their generous family spirit, even taught me how to do it. Live in joy with the Lord Larry.
