Louis Venegoni, age 87, of St. Louis, MO fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Thursday, July 13, 2023. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Velten) Venegoni; loving father of Karen (Victor) Granat, Beverly (Christopher) Haggerty, and Elizabeth (the late Keith) Hudson; dear grandfather of Jennifer (Matthew) Schoen, Andrew (Lauren) Zahnow, Julie (David) Argo, and the late Christopher Granat; dear great grandfather of Lilliana, Ryan, Aiden, Rhett, Rhys, Weston, Ava, and Axel; cherished son of the late Louis and Delena (nee Croci) Venegoni; dear brother of Paul (Angela) Venegoni and James (Faye) Venegoni; dear cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
Louis was a member of American Legion Post #15 Rollo Calcaterra and a member of the 40 & 8 La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux.
SERVICES: Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday, July 18, 2023 with a American Legion Service at 6:30pm by Rollo Calcaterra Post #15 at HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY 6464 Chippewa, St. Louis, MO 63109. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Wednesday, July 19, 2023 St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church 6303 Nottingham, St. Louis, MO 63109. Interment with Military Honors in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery to follow. Masses preferred.
