Beloved wife of Allen Burch. Cherished mother to Melissa Cobb, Crystal Cobb, and Derrick (Megan) Cobb. Proud and devoted grandmother to Natalie Moddrell, Lucas Moddrell, Lilien Cobb, and Liam Cobb—and a special “grandma” to her beloved grandpups. Dear sister of the late Craig (Susan) Wallace, Scott (Kathy) Wallace, and John (Julia) Wallace. She was also a treasured sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Lynne was a proud Dogtown resident for many years and carried that neighborhood spirit with her wherever she went. Lynne had a passion for life. She was an avid sports fan who especially loved NCAA and SLU basketball. She found joy in fishing, football, gambling, and traveling—particularly to Florida and St. Martin. A table shuffleboard champion and a golfer who proudly achieved two holes-in-one, and she will always be remembered as the undefeated champion of the "Allen and Lynne Fishing Tournament” a title no one will ever take from her. She also had a caring heart and was a proud and dedicated nurse for many years.
Lynne was also known for her fiery spirit, sharp wit, and competitive edge. Her sarcasm and humor brought laughter to those around her. She was beautiful, inside and out. Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of us who loved her and she will be profoundly missed.
