Margie was the beloved wife of the late John W. Brush; loving mother of Nancy (Jim) Minard, Michael (Sue) Brush, and John (Belinda) Brush; dear grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, sister-in-law, and a friend to many in her long lifetime.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Loretta Fenton and her eight siblings.
Margie was an active parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Parish where she a member of the Daughters of Mary. She and John raised their family through that parish. Although she worked a few jobs before marriage and kids, she loved being a homemaker.
After John passed away, Margie became a resident of Our Lady of Life and enjoyed living there for fourteen years. She made many friend there and took part in their social activities. She especially liked going to the casino.
Margie was fun-loving, generous, faith-filled, and loved attending family get-togethers. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be Sunday, August 9 from 2-6pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 10 at 10am at St. Lucy Parish on the campus of St. Joan of Arc Church, 5801 Pernod 63139. Rite of Committal will immediately follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
