

PANDOLFO, MARIO ALEXANDER, SR. Fortified With the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Mon., July 19, 2010. Mario. was born in Middletown, Connecticut on July 2, 1918 to Alexander and Rose Pandolfo. Mario attended St. Louis University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. While attending St Louis University, Mario met Mary Francis (Marion) Pandolfo, “The prettiest girl in St. Louis”. They were married on August 3, 1944 and were married for 58 years. He worked for Schering-Plough as a Hospital Representative for 42 years. Mario was devoted to his beloved wife Marion and, together, they enjoyed 11 children, 32 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mario was active as a CYC football and track coach for St. Roch’s Parish. He was an active church member at St. Gabriel’s Church and enjoyed being a Parish Usher at church. Mario passed away on July 19, 2010 in his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral from HOFFMEISTER COLONIAL MORTUARY, 6464 Chippewa at Watson on Fri., July 23, 2010 9:30 a.m. to St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
