I have known Geri for over fifty years. Im very sorry to hear of her passing.  She was a sweet gentle girl.  Her later years were hard and I think lonely.  Hope she has found peace.

I graduated from Ursuline Academy with Geri and remember her as ALWAYS being so sweet and nice!  It is wonderful to read that she was a teacher and how she positively influenced so many of her students.

Geri was a very special cousin in my life. We loved each other and enjoyed any time we were lucky enough to spend time together. The Wolf and Blatz family gatherings were always a time we really enjoyed. Growing up, it was always a special treat to have sleepovers either on Pheasant Drive or Lodge Pole Lane. 
I am blessed that Geri was in my life as a wonderful cousin and a forever friend.

Geri was such an excellent teacher! Who had a great influence on so many children. She  truly lived out her Catholic faith by all the years she taught at St. Elizabeth of Hungry.  Our condolences and prayers for her family.  We are grateful for her dedication and love.

The Hormberg Family

I was a student of Mrs. Wolf’s at St. E’s. I wanted to share a memory in her honor.  I will always remember her teaching the structure of the outline to our class. I can say it completely transformed the way I learned. Something so simple but important. And I remember her teaching it so carefully and meticulously,  and noting to us that it would help us study and learn for the rest of our lives. I have been a researcher at Washington University School of Medicine for almost twenty years. I have my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wash U and Wash U Schl Med.  To this day, I use the outline to prepare publications and grant submissions, and for organizing meetings with researchers across the world and for email communications with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, geneticists, and other specialists and researchers. I just want to note that something so essential that she taught me years ago has truly helped shape our research. Essentially, she has been a part of successful research outcomes in movement disorder and vascular neurology research such as Parkinson’s Disease, stroke, and Alzheimer’s Disease for a long while now. It all starts and ends with the outline! Thank you to Mrs. Wolf!

She was my fifth grade teacher at St. Elizabeth and one of my favorite teachers ever because of the kindness she showed me. I’m a teacher now myself. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, and I will always remember her gentle spirit.

Donna Geralyn Bokamper Casalone… Class of 1974 💟

While we shared some family DNA as cousins, we also shared a lot of life's experiences.  The Thanksgivings, birthdays, and Fourth of July's, growing up visiting all our favorite cousins on Lodge Pole Lane.  Adventures climbing trees and laughter.  I know that Geri's laugh will stay with me forever.
When Grandma took us shopping we would hide in the clothes racks, then pop out laughing.
Geri was a true life long friend and I will miss her dearly, we shared a love of nature and kitties.  I know Geri's kitties and her dog Angie, will be waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.  I wish her peace, joy and freedom from earthly strife, as she reaches the next realm.

Someone who shared so much life with you will always be a part of you.

Ms. Wolf was a teacher of mine at St. Elizabeth and I recently reconnected with her. She was very thoughtful and kind. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing and have been thinking and praying for her family and friends.

Geri was a dear friend from high school and after my first roommate! Always sweet and kind. She taught quite a few of my nieces and nephews. God bless.

“Mary Geralyn”. That is what I used to call Geri on occasion, and how I addressed cards to her, as that is what her Dad used to call her when she might have been treading on thin ice; as in, “Mary Geralyn, get your fanny in here!” Geri was the best person ever to be your partner in crime -- like sneaking down to the creek behind her parent’s house to see what ‘treasures’ we might find. She was a friend, my third sister. My childhood memories are intertwined with time spent with Geri and her family. Birthdays, Easters, Thanksgivings, Christmases, lazy summer days just hanging out, and even a vacation with the Wolf family to Michigan.
And many grown-up memories, too. Geri was the person who introduced me to hummus as an adult! Meeting for breakfast at the Pancake House when I was in town. Sitting outdoors on the deck at her house. And any chance to get out to enjoy nature. 
Geri, I will miss your smile, and your wonderful laugh. But, I know that heaven will be air-conditioned for you, 24-7.
