Michael J. Huber

Beloved husband of Janet Huber (née Kreger) for 23 years; Loving dad "Pops" of Gwen (Michael) Sniegocki and Eric Huber; adored and fun Pop Pop of Trent (fiancée MacKaylee Miller) Effan, Gabriel Effan, and Mia Sniegocki. Cherished son of the late Joseph and the late Eileen Huber (née Hill); dear brother of the late Danny Huber and the late Jack Huber. Mike was also a beloved nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Mike was a proud member of the Glaziers & Glassworkers Union Local #513 for over 30 years. He had a devilish sense of humor, no filter, and a passionate spirit. A true character, Mike loved sports, cartoons, music, politics, and history—and he never turned down a good debate or a chance to make someone laugh.

He loved taking care of his home and his lawn. He cared deeply for animals and people alike. Mike’s happiest moments were spent with his grandkids, often taking them back and forth to school, the pool and the park. He and Jan loved their many trips to Disney World.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 4:00 PM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132.

If desired, donations in Mike’s memory may be made to an animal charity of your choice.

Our hearts are broken. We are still in shock, and we don’t know how we’re going to go on without our fun, eccentric, wild, and outspoken Pop Pop. We will hold you in our hearts forever.
