

He is preceded in death by his dearly beloved wife Margaret Lynette Raidt.
Paul graduated from Sts. John & James Catholic School in 1955; Ferguson High School in 1959; and Rolla (Mo.) School of Mines in 1964. Paul worked as an engineer for McDonnell Douglas Astronautics Company for more than 35 years, starting in 1959. He was an engineer for the space programs Gemini and Spartan; the Harpoon Data processor and the Tomahawk Cruise Missile Guidance programs; and other strategic weapons systems. A lifelong baseball fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Paul enjoyed travel extensively with Lynette and was an active Catholic and member of The Cathedral Basilica and the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem Legacy Society. The couple also appreciated music and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.
Paul was a beloved member of a loving extended family including his parents: Lloyd Raidt & Ruby (Pemberton) Raidt (dec) Siblings: Linda (Raidt) McKee & Martha (Raidt) Miller (dec); Sister-in-Law: Barbara Groves; Brothers-in-Law: Ed Miller (dec) and Ed McKee; Nieces: Erin McKee (dec), Ann (Miller) Binstock, Carrie McKee; Nephew: Ed McKee IV; Niece-in-Law: Gretchen McKee, Julie Castle; Nephew-in-Law: Jonathan Binstock, Michael Brand (dec); Grandnieces/nephews: Addison (Brand) Smith and Aldon Brand and Deacon Brand, Ellen Binstock, Lena McKee and Eden McKee; and Cousins: Jack & Janel Gaultney, Pamela Raidt.
Visitation and Services will be held at The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis on Friday, July 25, 2025. 9:00 am Visitation and 10:00 am Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Affton, MO. Funeral arrangements through Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary.
