Ray Thompson was born June 8, 1920 in Malta, Idaho to Henry and Alzina Thompson, one of 14 children. He passed away April 5, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 91. He served in the army during WWII where he was awarded a purple heart and was a 10 point veteran. Ray is survived by his children, Darwin Thompson, Dolores Thompson Adams and six stepchildren whom he loved as his own, Edward Crockett, Gordon Crockett, David Crockett, Gerry Pittman, Barbara Petty, and Billie Simmons as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Keith Thompson of Jerome, Idaho. He will be greatly missed. His family is thankful for the knowledge that he has joined the angels and is in the presence of God.
