

Tommy was born on April 27, 1962, in St. Louis, Missouri, to James Herbert and Leota Marie Lewis. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; his brother Joseph Herbert, his partner, Richard Glenn; his nephew, Kenny Herbert; his sister-in-law, Ginger Herbert; and his niece, Renee Herbert.
He is survived by his brothers, James Herbert, Robert Herbert (Sharon), and George Herbert (Regina Jefferson), along with many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He also leaves behind his special friend and neighbor, Ann, with whom he shared many cherished moments.
Tommy was a simple man with a generous heart. He found joy in helping others whenever he could and was known for his kindness and willingness to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time at the casino, sipping on an ice-cold Dr Pepper, and smoking his Kools. Tommy had an easygoing nature and a happiness that was contagious to those around him.
Some of his most treasured times were the quiet, everyday moments—especially sharing breakfast and conversation with his neighbor Ann. He lived a life rooted in simplicity, kindness, and genuine care for others.
Tommy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
