Rita was the beloved wife of Ettore Floretta; loving mother Susanna Floretta, Walter (Diana) Floretta, Joseph Floretta, and Amy Floretta; cherished grandmother of Anna, Joey, and Drew; dear sister of Carmella, Giuliana, Gabriella (the late William) Brownfield, Pompeo (Pia) Paternoster, the late Giuseppe, the late Renato, the late Lina, the late Paola, and the late Anna; the dear sister-in-law of Franco (Carmen) Floretta and Bruno (Laura) Floretta, Tullia, the late Edward (the late Bianca) Floretta.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonzo and Emma Paternoster.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27 from 4-8pm at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A second visitation will be on Wednesday, October 28 from 9-10am at Saint Lucy Parish on the Campus of Saint Joan of Arc Church, 5801 Pernod, 63139. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am. Interment immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery.
