Robert Anthony Breier

On Monday, of the Fourth Week in Ordinary Time, January 29, 2024, God the creator and completer of all life, called Robert Anthony Breier to Himself in His Heavenly Glory. He died strengthened by the Sacraments and accompanied by the prayers of the Franciscan Sisters of the Martyr Saint George at Mother of Good Counsel Nursing Home.

Robert was born on November 5, 1964, to Henry and Pauline Breier in St. Louis, Missouri. Robert attended North County Senior High School in Desloge, MO, before enlisting in the United States Navy, where he would serve for 20 years as an Electronics Technician. During his time in the Navy, he received numerous achievement awards and national defense service medals. He loved his country and served it with great honor.

He is preceded in death by his father Henry, and is survived by his mother Pauline, and brother Rev. Msgr. Henry Breier.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis at 10:00 am on Monday, February 5, 2024, with interment immediately following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation will take place before the mass from 9 am to 10 am in the All Souls Chapel of the Cathedral.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in his memory to Mother of Good Counsel Nursing Home.
